In the actual context of the modern tendencies of the research activities to find new efficient and eco-friendly solutions to reduce the environment pollution, the PhD thesis, entitled The study and modelling of the bioprocesses involved in the industrial wastewater bioremediation, reveal a number of original contributions for fundamental and applied research, with great importance for the identification of some efficient solutions to remove the biodegradable and persistent chemical compounds from wastewaters. This PhD facilitated an interdisciplinary research, techniques from classical and modern biotechnology, modelling and advanced control of the bioprocesses being applied.
