An Integrated Approach to Language and Culture in Foreign Language Teaching
Abstract
The problem of integrated learning of the foreign language and the culture of the respective language has become a strategic one for foreign language teaching because in contemporary societies it is not unusual to be able to speak a foreign language - one needs to be aware of the cultural factors that offer the possibility of socio-cultural integration in the community, anticipating stereotypes and barriers in intercultural communication. Thus, the integrated study of foreign language and culture aims not only to teach the student to communicate.
