Construcţia identităţii textuale în scriitura Hertei Müller, Leagănul respiraţiei
Abstract
The issue of the Romanian literary exile has been and still remains far from being completely lightened from all points of view, as constantly there are events, information or new writings occurring, which, although happened a long time ago, must receive their well-deserved place in the "still enormous encyclopedia" of the identity landmarks of the Romanian exile. For the case study section, it will be reviewed one of the works of a Nobel laureate, Herta Müller, The cradle of breath, which will offer an overview of the persecutions that the author had to endure, and which, ultimately, led to a hardly bearable ending, the exile in Germany. The idea of exile gradually turns into a broad and open concept to new meanings. Herta Müller's compensatory-rehabilitative function proposes in the Cradle of Breath a special way of constructing the textual identity of a fundamental fictional character, but in whose interstices a new, symbolic-identity construction restores biographical data of whose relevance is artistically sublimed. Our approach will identify the instrument of literary fiction and its effects of transfiguration of those biographical / autobiographical sequences that may be the basis of the novel.
