Abstract

In the Preface of Mihail Sebastian’s Journal, Leon Volovici brings into discussion the multiple levels found in it, so we can identify an intimate journal, a creative journal, a political journal. Among these, our research analyzes the Jewish journal, discussing issues such as: Jews seen as a plague bythe Romanian community, the status of the Jewish writers in the Era of Romanization and the anti-Semitic measuresduring the Second World War.
