Memorialistica de exil - pledoarie pentru o perspectivă duală: trans-și paraliterară
Abstract
Admitted as transliteration, the memorial of exile makes possible, through the area of "absolute transparency" in which it is placed, the paraliterary communication between the "flow of information" that crosses the outer world (History) and the "flow of consciousness" that crosses the inner universe (the Inner Self) of the writer-memorialist. As we will find it in the memorialistic corpus of writers exiled in the Romanesque perimeter, the memorialistic writing is, equally, a transliterary and paraliterary phenomenon, an aesthetic and more than aesthetic one, a writing that does not eliminate from the equation the fictional criterion it proposes to complete and balance, restoring the permanent and fundamental relationship between the “proximate gender” and the “specific difference”, between the canonical and the non-canonical, between the minor and the major. Convinced that elements of paraliterarity are infused in the mass of current literature, we advocate the approach of exile memorialism as a transliterary form, a way that "stabilizes" axiomatically, on the allegation of discontinuity that literary reality is a palimpsest construct, in the sense that each level of literature is dependent on its own fictional laws. Therefore, the case of this hybridized type of literature confirms that the judgment of “artistic taste” proves to be a deeply subjective, spontaneous one, based on relative arguments and prejudices / preconceptions, conventions / canons bearing dogmatic and repressive landmarks in terms of aesthetic value.
