Umorul și ironia în proza lui Răzvan Petrescu
Abstract
Considered by the great literary critics a "master of short prose" (Alexandru Călinescu), Răzvan Petrescu imposed himself in the landscape of contemporary Romanian literature with the help of volumes that reach perfection. His works full of artistic finesse, tragic and comic inserts, ironies and humor offer a unique perspective on Romanian society and reflect a shocking reality. The tone of Răzvan Petrescu's prose is described by Alex Budac as "pronounced, melancholic, pessimistic and twilight - a reflection of the ethical cartridges struck by stylistics". Petrescu creates his own kind of prose, a prose with light, autobiographical themes, full of lost hopes, reinterpreted biblical parables and free improvisations.
