Proiecții manieriste în opera macedonskiană. Multiformele iubirii
Abstract
Within this paper we aim to analyse the instances of love in Macedonski`s creation, relying on the fact that, in part, they correspond to Mannerist affectivity. Because in love, contradictory principles operate, the exploitation of this area allows the activation of shocking, bizarre, antagonistic images, typical of the problematic personality of the Mannerist man. But Macedonski's life, his youthful attitude, lack of relationships with women, lack of devouring love, instinctive misogyny, selfishness and declared narcissism do not in any way anticipate the erotic consciousness of a screaming violence, which will later germinate in his creation. Because his life proves a certain erotic sterility, the creation becomes a compensatory space and projects some of the wildest images of love.
