Independent press projects in the current era

Abstract

     In this paper, we analyze three independent media projects from Romania in recent years, which proved to be successful, although they risked venturing into unknown territory, the field of journalism that lives, literally, from the appreciation of its audience. It is about three of the most important online press projects - Casa Jurnalistului, Rise Project and Recorder, as well as the independent press network PressHub - which live from public donations and international grants.
