L ’usage des documents authentiques dans l’enseignement/apprentissage de la traduction à l’université
Abstract
The authentic documents are very important in teaching translation in a foreign language because they meet the necessities of the teaching activities, centered on present-day activities, on the motivations and needs of the learner and, at the same time, ensure a real communication.
The present article presents the role and functions of immediate and authentic documents in foreign language sessions; these documents allow a better understanding of the cultural target, the daily realities, habits, attitudes and behavioural characteristics of the cultural target.
