Abstract

Looking back, we can speak of a female lyrical journey starting in the nineteenth century - Matilda
Cugler-Poni, Veronica Micle, Maria Cunţan, Julia Hasdeu, Elena Văcărescu, Elena Farago, Alice Calugaru,
Claudia Millian, Otilia Cazimir, Nina Cassian, Maria Banus, etc. Ana Blandiana - of an active presence in local
poetry, deep sensitivity, a wide horizon of knowledge. In this article, our goal is to analyze Elena Farago and
Otilia Cazimir works that embodies admirable the concept of femininity, through a complex and vigorous
literary creation, a poetry of great sensitivity, from the erotic, the poetry of nature, the poetry of social and
intellectualist attitude to literature for children. In their works, we find a diversity of influences that go beyond
European literature, we identify that "style of soul", unique ways of creative femininity. Are significant not only
the visions of the writers about the idea of femininity, but also their image reflected in the consciousness of
contemporaries and posterity.
