Unde fugim de acasă? Hărți identitare în romanul lui Bogdan Suceavă, Avalon. Secretele emigranților fericiți
Abstract
The concept of “home” can be redefined and reconstructed through the lens of migration literature, which focuses on the experiences of individuals in foreign settings. The contemporary focus on space in world literature
prompts a reassessment of home culture, going beyond its conventional geographical and stereotypical definitions. It develops into a concept of a relationship shown on a multinodal map, amplifying its cultural and symbolic weight. This article examines Bogdan Suceava’s novel, Avalon, The Secret of Happy Emigrants, analyzing how social, economic, and ideological factors redefine the center-periphery relationship.
