Ipostaze ale alterității în vechi structuri paremiologice românești
Abstract
The paper explores the construction of alterity in Romanian paremiological structures, focusing on representations of foreigners shaped by both direct historical encounters and indirect literary transmission. Using the corpus of Proverbele românilor (10 vols.) compiled by Iuliu Zanne (1895–1903), the study analyzes the mechanisms through which collective memory encodes and stabilizes the figure of the Other in proverbial discourse.
