Load distribution along the line of contact worm gearing

Résumé

The paper presents a study on the load distribution along the line of contact
between the worm tooth and worm wheel tooth. The load distributed unequally and
with discontinuities will lead to a variable deformation of the teeth, the appearance
of transmission error, which means the change of the transmission ratio.
