AIMS AND SCOPE

Annals of „Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, Fascicle XI- Shipbuilding is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research papers, review articles and brief communications in the field of:

ship’s hydroelasticity and hydrodynamics
ship’s structure and vibration analysis
marine propeller and propulsion
computational fluid dynamics
naval engineering
ocean engineering

Annals of „Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, Fascicle XI- Shipbuilding is a print publication of Naval Architecture Research Center under aegis of Galati University Press, the Publishing House of „Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, Romania.

Annals of „Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati, Fascicle XI- Shipbuilding carries no page charges and is open to all international scientists.

The first issue of the journal was published, as print journal, in 1978.

1978 - 1982- the name of the publication was Buletinul Universităţii din Galaţi, Fascicula IV- Construcţii de maşini, frigotehnie, construcţii navale (Galati University Bulletin, Fascicle IV- Machine building, refrigerating technique, ship-building), ISSN 0254-5535.

1983 - 1986- the name of the publication was Analele Universităţii din Galaţi –Mecanică şi construcţii de maşini, Fascicula IV- Construcţii navale şi frigotehnie (The Annals of the University of Galati, Fascicle IV- Shipbuilding, Refrigerating technique). Paper were published in French and English with multilingual abstracts (Romanian, English, French and German), ISSN 1220-0778.

1987-1995- the name of the publication was bilingual: Analele Universităţii din Galaţi – Fascicula XI- Construcţii navale (The Annals of the University of Galati, Fascicle XI- Shipbuilding). Paper were published in English with multilingual abstracts (Romanian, English and German), ISSN 1221- 4620.

1996 – present – the name of publication is Analele Universităţii „Dunărea de Jos” din Galaţi, Fascicula XI – Construcţii navale/ The Annals of the University „Dunarea de Jos” of Galati, Fascicle XI-Shipbuilding).

Starting 2018 our revue has also an online edition, e-ISSN 2668-3156, as an Open-Access journal.
