Viaţa monahală în eparhia Huşilor în timpul episcopului Grigorie Leu

Abstract

This paper refers to the main directions in the evolution of Orthodox monasticism in the diocese of Huși during the times of Bishop Grigorie Leu (1940-1949). The author presents the reforms undertaken with the view of stimulating monastic life, repairing works of monasteries and some of the most important personalities of monasticism within the diocese.
