Résumé

The Romanian language, the identity form of the national culture, was constantly, at the level of both the spoken and the literary language, a factor of cohesion and a promoter of the unity of the Romanian people. As a consequence of the development of the national culture, after the Great Union, Romanian has made its unity more evident, adding a new, modern stage, in a permanent action of consolidating the Romanianity.
