Abstract

About one of the most terrible tragedies of the twentieth century, the Holocaust, thousands of books have been written, tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of articles, and memoirs of survivors have been published, then memoirs of perpetrators, so it seems that the subject has been exhausted. In fact, new themes of reflection and research are emerging, addressing this horridness (unimaginable for the "civilized" twentieth century) from other angles of approach. This article starts from the work of Michael Bazyler, who concludes, through rigorous research, that the Holocaust was executed based on the existing racial legislation in the Reich and the conquered territories, legislation developed by German bureaucrats, most of whom are entirely unknown to the general public. The extermination program of
the Jews was carried out after receiving political approval from Hitler, but it is the result of long-term efforts by jurists, the vast majority of whom escaped prosecution for the crimes committed by the Nazis.
