HOW AND WHY DOES THE PHRASEOLOGY OF A LANGUAGE CHANGE

Abstract

This article tries to highlight the manner in which the phraseology of a
language changes. The causes are related to the evolution of the language in general,
but also to the preference of the speakers to use certain combinations of words, more
or less fixed, instead of others.
