Abstract
The article has been written with the purpose of emphasizing the language development in
communication between the persons belonging to different cultures. The values and the cultural
standards are anchored in several geographical and psychological facts giving any culture the
specificity of a nation. The word’s power is conditioned by the reference to the interlocutor’s
‘’alphabet’’. An image may contain a dictionary of words; we cannot imagine life without its
presence. The understanding of communication represents the world everyone builds up in
connection with the interlocutor’s language.
