SINONIMIA INTERNĂ:
UN TIP SUI-GENERIS DE SINONIMIE ANALIZABILĂ
Abstract
This presentation brings back to discussion the concept of analysable internal lexical
synonymy and, in particular, the relation of semantic equivalence between words obtained directly or indirectly from the same internal stem. The following types, with examples and comments, are overviewed: a) derivative synonymy, b) synonymy between compound words, c) synonymy between words obtained by zero-derivation, and d) mixed synonymy (between words obtained by derivation, compounding, contamination or zero-derivation, etc.). The conclusions emphasise the diversity of obtaining etymological analysable synonymy, at the level of both literary language, and vulgar tongue or regional language, with focus on its expressive and analogical characteristic.
