FASCICLE II, MATHEMATICS, PHYSICS, THEORETICAL MECHANICS, ISSN 2067-2071, is a new series of the former ANALELE UNIVERSITATII “DUNAREA DE JOS” DIN GALATI, FASCICOLA II, MATEMATICA, FIZICA, MECANICA TEORETICA, ISSN 1221-4531, CNCSIS code 214, and it was acreditted as B+ Cathegory in 2010.
Joining the University of Galati journal, in the Annals Fascicle II, during the years 2007-2008, the Faculty of Science Editorial Board decided that the journal should also be devoted to chemistry and informatics, besides mathematics and physics (ISSN 1842-6506).
This is a journal edited by the Faculty of Sciences, University of Galati, Romania, which appears in two issues per year starting with 2009, and publishes contributions in the fields of Mathematics and Physics. An important aim of the Journal is to bring together the specialists of related fields, such as Chemistry, Environment Science, Materials Science, Biology and Informatics, promoting interdisciplinary studies.
The journal is abstracted from 2001 in Cambridge Scientific Abstracts and starting with Number 2/2010 in EBSCO database and it has an international scientific board with researchers from: Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Israel, Japan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine and Romania.
Papers presented at national conferences, workshops or symposiums with international participation are published in supplements of the journal in electronic form:

Submission is a representation of the fact that the manuscript has not been published previously, nor currently submitted for publication elsewhere. All submissions are assessed by two independent referees. The recommended length for contributions is max. 10 typed pages (3,300 words). The language in which the articles are published is English. The electronic format of the final paper is offered free of charge. No page charges are required.
Two copies of the manuscript for referees and a diskette/CD prepared according to the instructions existing on the journal website should be submitted to the Editorial Staff, at the address below. The electronic form of the manuscript can be sent to the Editorial Secretary by e-mail also.
