The Agreements Between The European Union And The Mongolia: Assessment And Prospects
Abstract
Diplomatic relations between the European Union and Mongolia began in 1989. Previously, Mongolia had few relations with the European Economic Community. From 1989, relations between the two partners will therefore intensify. The framework agreement for partnership and cooperation between the European Union and its Member States and Mongolia (2013) marks a desire between the two parties to take a new step in their relations. This agreement is part of the series of new agreements sought by the European Union, which began with a very important agreement signed in 2010 with the Republic of South Korea and followed by others, including that with the Republic of Mongolia.
