For A Western Reading Of The Constitution From Mongolia
Abstract
Reading the Mongolian constitutional text confirms that this former people's republic was able to absorb Western achievements. In light of these standards, the Mongolian Constitution therefore appears irreproachable. Moreover, often combining the characteristics of different European and American institutional models, it demonstrates a certain originality. Since the works devoted to it remain particularly rare, the Mongolian example deserves more substantial attention in law,
constitutional comparison, especially as the interest presented by the Mongolian Constitution is not limited to the compilation of constitutional provisions inspired by the circle of the most influential Western powers.
