Abstract

Integration within and between regions is becoming the main trend of
development in international economic relations. Regional integration has known an
increasing trend due to development and the reduction of cost of transportation and
communication, tariff reduction, lesser trade barriers, and liberalized lobar migration. In
the beginning phases of integration, countries within a region worked on trade and
economic cooperation. In the current stages, regional integration is being expanded even
further.
