Abstract

Children's education is a great responsibility, which employs the educator / teacher in an effort that lasts all his life and whose fruits all enjoy: the trainer, the trainee, the people around them. All the more important is religious education, whose fruits are seen here as well, among men, but above all, it contributes, step by step, to the attainment of salvation. But in the secular world in which we live, the educational act of the Religion class is difficult to accomplish. Today's children and young people are very much attracted to the superficial aspects of life; religious education is often passed on the second or third plan, or even totally neglected! In this context, the religion teacher, together with the parish priest, within educational partnerships between schools and churches, must find attractive solutions and ingenious methods to redirect the attention and love of children from the virtual and superficial world to solid life principles, to the moralspiritual ideal that Christ gives us through His Gospel. It is the “set of values” that never grow old and we always appeal to, when we grow up and have responsibilities of “big people”.
