Modelul familiei creştine după lucrarea De monogamia a lui Tertulian
Abstract
Tertullian, the first great Latin theologian, lived in Carthage and had a great influence in time. He was attracted to Christianity by the courage of martyrs, became their defender and the prosecutor of state and profane legislation. He had a very strict attitude towards the weaknesses of Christians, becoming, at least during Montanist, opponent of ecclesiastical authority. In this case, he writes project “The Monogamy” in which he is against the second marriage. The reason for his attitude was emanant from the conscience of the divine work in Sacrament of Matrimony. Some deviations from the right faith don`t reduce the amount of the work, and the Church honors him with the status of “religious writer”.
