The Character and the Qualities of a Christian Leader. A Biblical and Patristic View

Abstract

Nowadays leadership is a very important topic because at all levels of human society the institutions, the organisations, the companies, the parties, the trustees, and not least of all the churches need to be leaded, guided and motivated by the presence of leader.
The aim of this essay is to show how the behaviour of leaders can infl uence the others members of community, group, team etc. And this is about character, about the traits which characterised the person of a leader helping him/her to maintain virtuous action, emotion and thought in order that the members of organisation to be motivated and to work for the achievement of common goals.
