Înmormântarea, expresie a identității creștine
Abstract
For us, Christians, the funeral is part of our spiritual and social life, with deep social-cultural implications that, most of the time, are being lived at maximum intensity. The proof is the numerous funeral rites and services, both within the church and the family.
The tombs of our ancestors, veritable laboratories of resurrection and spaces of our spirituality, are true landmarks of our Christian identity. We bury our deceased loved ones in our cemeteries, close to our homes, practically within the same existential space. In doing so, they remain part of the Church, they are with us in our prayers, in our memories, and in our struggle for salvation.
