Abstract
After 1948, the Inter-War Romanian educational system changed due to the brutal intrusion of the political
factor which structurally modified the literature teaching perspective. The abusive politically-coined pact distorted
Spiru Haret’s educational reforms up to the total subjection of literature textbooks to the dominant doctrine. Our study analyses these ideological changes in teaching literature by comparison to the former Inter-War educational system, with a special view on literature textbooks.
